The book is focus on the subject of management control and it is divided into four parts. Part one is an overview and it covers four chapters from 1-4 and they are the nature of management control, behavior in organizations, goals and strategies, and lastly information. The second part presents four chapters from 5-8 and they are as follows; responsibility centers: revenue and expense centers, profit centers, transfer pricing, and lastly investment centers. Part three is the management control process covering chapter 9-13. Chapter 9 is about programming followed by Budget preparation, Analyzing and reporting financial performance, the profit budget in the control process and the last one is executive incentive compensation plans. The last part presents four chapters from 14-17. The chapters covers multinational companies, service organizations, nonprofit organizations and finally management control of projects.
